Terms of service

The rules for using Plumo, written in plain English.

Last updated 21 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you (the business owner using Plumo) and Dacway, 242 Jodbhavi Peth, Solapur 413002, Maharashtra ("Plumo", "we", "us"). By asking for a preview, signing up or paying for a plan, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy and refund policy.

2. The service

Plumo is a monthly website service. On a paid plan we:

  • design and build your business website;
  • host it with secure https and keep backups;
  • make a set number of updates every month;
  • deliver your website's enquiries to the Plumo app and your email.

What each plan includes (pages, photos, projects, updates, blog posts, AI search check) is listed on our pricing page.

3. Free preview

After you tell us about your business, we build a free preview at yourname.getplumo.in. The preview is free and you are under no obligation to buy. We may remove a preview that isn't approved within [number] days.

4. Plans and autopay

  • Plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance. Yearly plans cost the same as 10 months.
  • You pay by autopay through UPI or card, handled by Razorpay. By setting up autopay you allow us to charge the plan price on each billing date until you cancel.
  • We are not registered for GST at present, so no GST is added. If that changes, we will tell you before it applies.
  • If we change our prices, we will tell you at least [30] days before the new price applies to you.

5. Updates included

Each plan includes 2, 4 or 8 updates a month. An update is a small change, such as text, photos, prices or timings. Send requests through the Plumo app, WhatsApp or email. Bigger work, like new pages, a new design or new features, is quoted first and done only if you agree. Unused updates do not carry over to the next month.

6. Fair use

Please use Plumo for your genuine business website. You must not use it to:

  • publish anything illegal, false, misleading, hateful or obscene;
  • copy someone else's content, brand or photos without permission;
  • send spam, spread malware or attack other systems;
  • overload the service, for example with very large files or traffic far beyond normal business use.

We may refuse to publish content that breaks these rules.

7. Your content and responsibilities

  • Accurate information: you are responsible for the details on your website, such as prices, offers, licences and claims about your business.
  • Rights to content: you confirm you own or have permission to use every photo, logo and text you send us.
  • Your content stays yours. You give us permission to use it only to build, host and show your website, and to show your website in our portfolio only if you agree.
  • Enquiry data: you are responsible for how you use the enquiries your visitors send, as required by data protection law.
  • Keep your login safe and tell us if you think someone else has used it.

8. Our responsibilities

  • We do our best to keep your website online all the time, but we can't promise it will never be down, for example during maintenance or problems with our providers.
  • We keep backups and will restore your site from the latest backup if something goes wrong.
  • We keep your data secure as described in our privacy policy.

9. Domain ownership

Your domain (for example, yourbusiness.in) is registered in your name and belongs to you. You buy and renew it with your registrar and pay them directly; Plumo does not sell or renew domains. We help you connect it to your website and remind you before it expires. If you leave Plumo, the domain stays yours.

10. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from the Plumo app. Autopay stops, and your website stays live until the end of the period you have paid for. Past payments are not refunded. The full rules are in our refund and cancellation policy.

11. Suspension for non-payment

If an autopay payment fails, we will retry it and send you reminders. If it is still unpaid [X] days after the failed payment, we may pause your website until payment is made. If your account stays unpaid for [number] days after that, we may close it and delete your data as set out in our privacy policy. We may also suspend a website that seriously breaks the fair-use rules, after telling you why where possible.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data, caused by using or not being able to use Plumo. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the [12] months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts at Solapur, Maharashtra. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to solve it together.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For important changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they apply. If you keep using Plumo after that, the new terms apply.
